On Sunday 15th March, I went to Walsall Arboretum to play in the Reliant Windows Hard Court Classic. Unfortunately, it was raining.
In the singles, I won my first match 4-0, 4-1, before losing to world number 3 4-1, 5-4. I played well against him, which was good as I have never played him before.
However, in the doubles, my partner and I won our first match 4-2,4-1 and our second match 4-0,4-1. We were then in the semi-finals, which we won 5-3,5-3. In the final, it was a battle of East Midlands (us) against West Midlands (our opponents). East Midlands came out on top, winning 1-4, 4-0, 4-2. In the last game, we were 40-30 down when I hit a forehand cross court return winner. In the next point (sudden death deuce), I did the same again to win the match. This was our second title in 2 events.

Well done
